American Legion Squadron 31(SALS) donation

Carroll County Young Marines (CCYM) would like to thank the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 31(SALS) for their very generous contribution towards the purchase of new competition rifles for our newly formed shooting team. Accepting the donation from Jeff Roach, Commander SALS 31 is CCYM Exec. Officer Gary Hammett. Carroll County Young Marines would like to congratulate YM Sgt. Bryan Engelmann, who was promoted Meritoriously on February 20, 2012. Approval for this promotion was granted by National Young Marines Headquarters in recognizition for the outstanding work YM Sgt. Engelmann has done for the Carroll County Unit and the assistance he has given to the Adult Staff. Also pictured is his father Robert Engelmann, pinning on his new YM Sgt. chevrons.

Carroll County Young Marines Lend a Hand

Members of the Carroll County Young Marines assisted Katherine Dukehart with raking her leaves on Nov. 19, 2011. Her husband, Charles Dukehart, passed away on October 4, 2011. He was a World War II veteran.
